How about an option in your profile where you can disable all the games/sections that are generated on the home page/searches/messages boards etc for consoles, or if you're a console gamer then disable PC stuff?

The reason I say is because filtering out all the stuff for my format would allow me to see more per page about what I care about, which is the system I use.

I honestly think this would focus peoples attention on the site more rather than trawling through items that dont interest them.

By default all should be on but if someone chooses to disbale formats then it would be nice.
