I have tried going through the maze many times, but I can't find the key. Can anyone explain how you get it?

I thought that it would be you have to press the third switch and then jump off one of the ledges, but the doorways on the main floor to the right are still closed off. Please help!

hey man, ur not the only one stuck, my whole party of pokemon are at lvl 61 and im stuck and getting very mad on this part so i play silver instead

Try this:

-Go inside, head straight and then up the stairs
-Go to the upper left corner of the 2nd floor and go up the stairs.
-Press the switch on the statue.
-Head down and go through the big gap.
- Fight the Scientist and go downstairs.
- Go into the room to your left and press the switch on the statue.
- Head back to the stairs then up and press the switch on the other statue in the other room.
- Carry on to find Gym Key and TM22 Solar Beam
