    As with a lot of old games the tilde key for console only works on english keyboard layouts. You have to switch to an english keyboard layout to get the tilde key to work.

    Or press the key for where the tilde key is on foreign keyboard layouts.

    You don't have to change to English layout.

    the console on this game does not physically show up. you just have to be sure that you're typing the commands correctly and they will work as long as you have the console enabled in your .ini

    it should work just fine. The feature is just difficult to use because you cannot see what you're typing in.

    remember to change the .ini file and add

    enableconsole=1

    since it is a steam game, there may be two .ini files for the game. they are likely located in...

    C:\Users\?you?\Documents\My Games\koto2

    and/or

    C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\kotor2\kotor2
