The unlock all research option does not work properly it is unlocked but you cant talk to the other species and you cant use the trading system so its only activated for ship parts and the like.

Steam version also does not work. f1 works to activate but options are not activated when you press f1-f6. A fix for this would be great.

got trainer to work with steam:

re binding the keys with the trainer customizer to num pad makes the steam version work.

Research option is buggy as was mentioned above. It unlocks and gives you all the goodies, but all the races still speak Greek and whatnot to you. Very frustrating when trying to negotiate Alliances.

EDIT:
Ignore what I said above. I rechecked things and the whole trainer doesn't work for the most part. Further backlog reading of the thread reveals the problem. Impulse purchased SotS doesn't like your trainer.
I will try the remapping trick and see if it works for the Impulse version.

EDIT AGAIN:
Nope. Still out of luck. Are you sure you guys don't wanna make a trainer for the Impulse version? ಥ_ಥ

Yes I can confirm that the cheat works for Impulse. The F key version of the trainer works with
most cheats.pop cheat only works on first planet that i can see.
