I'm not sure if someone has posted this elsewhere, but I thought I would share it just in case. I found a way to set the game at a higher resolution than what they may allow for those who don't have enough GPU. As it stands now, if you have less than 512mb in video memory, you are limited to what resolutions you can choose. This trick will allow you to change the resolution to whatever your computer is currently set to.

1)Right click on the Prototype shortcut and go to properties.
2)At the end of the target path, type the word "windowed" without quotes.
3)In the run options below, choose maximized. Hit ok.

That's it! If your monitor is set at 1920x1080, the game will run at that no matter how much gpu you have. You will see the mouse, but you can just push that off to the side and off the screen. Hope this helps.

Its not true native settings though, its just stretched in a way.

You may think the game has set to 1920x1080 but im sure the game is not running at that :P

Not necessarily. Because when you follow the steps and then check the resolution in the game settings, it shows that you are running at the higher resolution. I have my computer's resolution set at 1920x1080 and when I go to the in-game video settings, it says it is running at 1920x1080.

It may have fooled it in reporting that, but maximizing a window does not mean that the resolution will change to the one you want.

For example, an emulator I run in a window at 800x600 and maximize the window its still 800x600 but stretched but now the actual window itself is say 1280x1024 but the emulator is still 800x600 and a bit blocky as it has been stretched.
