So it's finally here, been waiting a long time for this one.
This specimen was tested on an agreeable system with 3GHZ Dual Core, 4 GB ram, GTS 8800 with Vista Home Premium 32 bit.
Did you expect the grand triple-a treatment of the likes of Assassins Creed or GTA IV? Then this is the wrong game, Prototype does not have the Multi-Million $ polish to it, what its got is a healthy dose of gameplay fun cut with "OK" graphics mixed with tons of tons of gore.

I maxed the settings (1080p) and played it with a 360 gamepad, this seems to be the best input method in most console port games.

Prototype looks decent enough on the ground level, whats missing is a bit more variety and characther to the city and its inhabitants, decals and "gibs" should stay longer and enemy AI and collision detection could be better, very responsive controls though.

Being a 2009 game prototype fails in some areas, prototype would be a great AAA title 2 years ago but now it lacks certain things in the technology.
Sprinkle in some better physics and more fluid and less rollerskaty movement for alex, better looking peds, more varied types of people and activities preformed by them, they should be more "alive", better overall graphics would be nice, and by god, Euphoria+DMM(Digital Molecular Matter)+Red Faction: Guerrilla's blow-stuff-uppy system with a little bit better gore system and bang, this would be AAA stuff.

    Overall a fun game
