The purpose of this thread is to give away packs that have to be bought, so therefore warez.

actually no, since hearing from EA, and they say its fine to give them away. they wont openly give people access to it via a link, but its not against there rules, its no different to sharing content via the exchange site they have, or using mods.

If you want i can remove my links to the files, that way if anyone wants again, they can just pm me, or someone else that has it already.

I found this site and might be able to help you out. It is called The Sim's Resource. I am not for sure if it has the procedure for Mac's but I am sure you can find out from there.

Plus all the items are FREE and you can download the custom made items from there.

As for the previous poster's comment about pirated content, I am not sure that is the issue here. I would have never said anything about the sim packs that I have if I thought it was illegal in any way. I read where the comment from EA was made about the pacs.

Maybe if we can get an official reply from EA, this issue will be put to rest.

The problem is this, EA knows the packs are out there illegally and they know its going to be close to very difficult to stop it.

But the bottom line is this, the packs are on the EA store and thusly have to be bought to be used legally.

Unless I see an official statement from EA which says the store content can be shared legally, links to free store content will not be posted here.
