Warhammer 40k: Dawn of War - Dark Crusade Message Board  

I recently uninstalled and then reinstalled Dark Crusade and, stupidly, accidentally said to delete all my saved games. Well at the time I was like oh well I can make another profile no big deal. Come to find out... that isn't the case. Every time I try and create a new profile I type in my name and hit create, the name disappears, and nothing happens. Is there a way to get around that or should try uninstalling and reinstalling again? Thanks in advance.

Happened to me before. Tbh the best course of action is to uninstall + reinstall. If it doesnt work then possibly ring THQ. They should know how to fix it, but the uninstall then reinstall worked for me so it should work for you

Thanks. I'll give it a shot. Uninstall+reinstall is usually the panacea for just about every problem there is.

Well it did nay work. It's still acting up. Can't enter a profile name. Well, I can, and I can hit "Create" but it doesn't create. Time to test Relic's skill with troubleshooting.

I still can't get this game to Create a profile for me at the beginning of the game. Maybe it's a problem with patch 1.2? I don't know and this really rather annoying.
