Well I have heard it is exactly like Painkiller which I really hated. And I have also read in Gamespot that it has poor voice acting. So is the gameplay good?

I really love horror FPS games. I have played Doom 3, Quake 4, Ridd.ick many a times. So please comment taking these titles into consideration.

One last question - Is this a round based game where you have to kill the monsters to proceed or it is a story based game where you have reasonable missions to complete?

its a good game starts slow though so its worth a buy

Thanks for the reply, I played it at my friends house, but I did'nt like it - Its just like any other shooter.

I bought this and I did not like it, at all. It's just extremely boring, there's no story to it, voice acting is bad, graphics are also very low for a game released at it's time. So I urge you to just stay away from it. The only cool thing about it is that you can chuck shovels and swords into endless nazi skeletons.

Well NecroVisoN runs on the same engine Painkiller ran on, that's why the feel is same and the code routine too. The engine is called the PAIN engine.

NecroVisioN plays during World War 1. Which means there are no Nazi-Skeletons because the Nazis ruled Germany from 1933 to 1945...
