Yeah I only deal with the physical cards. I also agree that the game is a rip off, even the Magic Online is dumb. You pay the same price for the digital cards that you would for the physical ones, but you cant like upload your physical ones or anything so you have two seperate collections. Just doesnt make sense to me. I would rather sit around with friends and play, that way you get to see their faces when you crush them lol

I went to that tournament as well!

I have no proof but you just have to believe me!

Like I always say the damn thing is a rip off every damn year another damn version of the game.
Ok "new cards" sure... but you could also patch the older version to include "new cards" and any engine changes.

Just find it dumb as hell you spend all that time and money on one version, to only redo it again the following year.

That smells of corporate cash grabbing.

But for the actual physical cards, they are still cool.

Tbh, the physical card game meta is a gigantic rip off as well. They structure the most popular format to cycle out cards every two years, so every two years you have to drop around $500 on cards if you want to be competitive. Realistically, you have to do that every three months if you want to be really competitive. It's absolutely a corporate cash grab.

But it is a ton of fun! I'm still pretty casual, but I have been playing off and on since 7th edition. I want to start getting into the competitve tournament scene but the cost is definitly an issue lol Once this current block is done getting released though I think I'll try it out. I've gotten a lot of my friends into the game so I'm hoping I can talk some of them into coming with me.

Neither, but like I said, I have no proof so feel free to let your imagination run wild.
