I've gotten into Magic lately, I suppose if you spend enough time at a game shop and people like you enough, someone eventually gives you enough cards for a deck. I've since gone from 'cards people gave me' to 'cards I've bought' and I'm really starting to enjoy the game. Right now I run a Blue/White artifact creature deck that's quite stable. It still needs some minor tweaking, but it's won it's fair share of games.

I'm curious to know who else is a MTG player, as I'd like someone to discuss strategy and/or help me work on this deck so it's a bit more stable.

I used to play, I had a swamp and mountain deck.

However, I have know Idea what happened to my cards. My typical strategy was to keep the opponent at bey with a strong defense, and using cards that would inflict damage directly.

    *is self-declared MTG noob*

I have 7 decks, one for each color and two artifact decks.

My white deck has yes to be beaten. Might seem like an accomplishment, but it's only taken part in 6 games.

My white deck focuses on adding health, which makes the game longer. Strangely, my black deck does the same thing.

My deck is based heavily around artifact creatures and cards with artifact affinity and/or other effects that benefit from artifacts on the field. I also have a number of non-artifact cards thrown in to cause discord (which is what the deck does, and it does it well)

I played it years ago. I'm totally overwhelmed by it now.

I play Magic quite a lot, and have gotten many of my friends into it as well. I'm also working on a website, and would like to open my own store one day. I would love to have people on this site to talk about it with, I mean it is gaming right? Maybe there could be a Magic specific board? But anyway I'm always down to chat strategy etc. I have a lot of decks, but currently my favorite deck is a Black/Green deck that explodes with +1/+1 counters that you cant get rid of. >:]

Like I always say the damn thing is a rip off every damn year another damn version of the game.

Ok "new cards" sure... but you could also patch the older version to include "new cards" and any engine changes.

Just find it dumb as hell you spend all that time and money on one version, to only redo it again the following year.

That smells of corporate cash grabbing.

But for the actual physical cards, they are still cool.
