Left 4 Dead Message Board  

The #10 trainer has been working fine since it's release. Just today however, after I was through playing, I shut down the game and steam said that it had just finished downloading L4D. Not possible since I've been playing it for 5 hours. Later on, I load back up the trainer and the game, activate the trainer and load a map when the game exits and kicks me back to the desktop and it has been doing so ever since.

Is this the work of some unseen patch? The update log says it hasn't been touched since 4/30/09.

I'm at a loss, any help would be appreciated.

I agree - same thing happened today as well, every time you try to enable the trainer, it shutsdown the program - and i have tried all possible configurations as per the troubleshooting guide as well.

Same problem! I think Trainer #11 is needed!

You are all correct. Trainer 10 is no longer valid due the recent L4D update. It's been that way since early May for me, actually. Odd that it just happened to you.

But alas, no more trainer at current patch... (
