Regarding the Mega Trainer 1.5 (Retail+Steam), Auto-Hack Passwords, No Inventory W....

Good morning from germany,
I have problems getting the trainer working,
i patched fallout to 1.5.0.22 (1.5) added Operation Anchorage and The Pitt, the game and the adds work fine. In the options menu at main menu the game shows 1.5.0.22.
I tried all trainers for main game and for the two expansions and it`s allways the same, trainer cannot find game....
The trainers are in game directory, i tried starting game first then trainer and the other way round.
when i started playing fallout 3 with patch 1.0.35 the trainer was working fine.
Anyone with a hint around?

have you worked through all the tips in the trainer troubleshooting guide? like the antivirus tip, maybe you changed some settings since you last used a trainer?

i changed nothing, between the playing of fallout 3 with the 1.0.35 patch and the 1.5 version with add-ons are 15minutes max.
I tried the antivir thing but nothing changed

some news, if i NOT activate the addons in the fallout launcher the trainer i downloaded from the Fallout 3: The Pitt section here on cheat happens tells after pressing F1, trainer activated, if i start fallout with active addon The Pitt trainer cannot find game -.-

have you disabled the Xlive CAT file in the game folder??? otherwise the trainer gets blocked, and this trainer is for the original 1.5 patched game only, not sure if it works with the DLC expansions.

omfg i found the problem,
i dont know why but my fallout3 exe was named
Fallout3ng.exe, i renamed it to fallout3.exe and the trainer works again^^

how odd, must have been done somehow, patch or a mis-select when renaming another file. glad you got it fixed. there is nothing wrong with the trainer, occasional blip/CTD with the weapon repair option, but otherwise fine.

game is a bit unstable, after Nvidia driver update to 185 (well for me anyway). and thats with no trainer running.
