So what's your favorite faction in the Grand Campaign?
Mine is personally the Ottoman Empire as it's strategic position was marvelous and it has a variety of infantry and super heavy artillery ( 64 lbs/ ± 30 kgs cannons weren't an everyday thing back then ). The only flaw I can see is that the variety of cavalry wields relatively weak horsemen. The leaders are relatively bad, but still better than Spain's "charismatic" leader. The naval strength is relatively weak, but with research it can become the envy of all nations. The Ottoman Empire's close position to India gives them a good chance to become a strong economical empire. Their position also gives them a good chance to monopolize the cotton market.

England forever!

Great navy, great ranged troops. And a pretty neat starting location. Although it means you start cut off from everyone else, everyone else is always cut off from you.

I play as the Brits most. Best infantry.

But my favorite is probably the Danes. For no particular reason.

Lol, even tho its a bit lame to say it, the British are probably the best faction in the game and the most fun to play(creative assembly is british so it kind of makes sence they werent 100% fair on content balance(same like in medieval 2)).
The british have like two dozen more special units than everyone else (especially compared to those factions that only have one and is boringly generic(like Holland or Sweden for an example))and is getting more at an alarming rate if you're looking at the mod community. Another sad thing is that all line infantry in the game has british uniforms...

the Danish? they are not playable, although they certainly should be i think!
its kind of boring playing as the british i think tho, they were a big empire in real life, why want to repeat history when you can change it? ;D

Prussia! I love a challenge, and, I'm of Prussian descent so, it's a no brainer for me. Deutschland Uber Alles!

The Danes become playable with the all-factions mod.

Same.

Also I like to play with Prussia because if the rebellion breaks in Brandenburg you get German flag.

France.

I didn't try any other factions yet, but I achieved World Domination with them (conquered all provinces) when I had the game loaned, now that I bought it, I'll problably enjoy playing Spain.
