Warhammer 40k: Dawn of War 2 Message Board  

Need help with the campaign. now i dont think im being stupid but i just might be lol tis i smy problem in the manuel it says under the campaign bit that you can choose your rase but i cant and i can do this only in multi play ( which i am very disapointed with) so how do i choose my race as i only seem to be able to play as the bloode ravens.

Please can anyone put me out of my missory or is this going to be another game im disapointed with....

Well im gutted yet another game im disappointed with. All of the war hammer 4000 dawn of war games ive played to death and still play but this one im bored of they should of done it so you can go as all four races in SP and as for there being four unique races im only seeing one new race as the orks eldar and marines they were in all the other games too.
Other than the fact the game is vusually stunning im not imoressed at all.

I hear you - I felt the same way after buying the game and felt short changed at the SP campaign, particularly since almost every mission is the same as the last. Apparantly, THQ was banking on the game being primarily for MP use.

The only saving grace for the SP is that it looks terrific. Personally, I'm going back to 40K DOW and the brilliant 'true' RTS that it is.

you can mod the game to change the chapter and you can play ass a other race but with the same story line

not quit the same though is it if we have to change the game to make it better ourselves ive not been this disappointed in a game since RA3. and as for thq thinking it would be used mainly for mp thats is pants too dow is a rts and i though dow 2 would be too but its more rpg and i really done think i will be playing it anymore either and thanks for it being on steam i cant seel it or trade it in either.
