There were four different "special editions".

The Special Forces edition contains six faction-specific units- HMS Victory, the French Irish Brigade, Spanish guerillas, Gurkha infantry, Rogers' Rangers and the Ottoman Organ Gun.

If you bought from Best Buy, you received the USS Constitution unit. From Amazon.com you got Dahomey Amazons. And from Game Group, you got Death's Head Hussars.

All are unlockable through simple modding.

Any edition that covers all of thoose?

No, but you can delete a file and you get them all with any edition.

For 10 bux more ($60) The US Special Forces edition (the one I got right here in my hands) comes with 6 special fraction specific units (that you can use in both SP and MP). A foldout map (of the in-game Campaign) a foldout building browser thing, and a Empire art book. (Which isn't that nice, only about 7 pictures LOL).

Oh, and maybe one of the key highlights... Volume 1 of history channels "The Revolution" on how us Americans got tired of British tyranny and kicked their ass! (Which I still haven't watched and completely forgot about). But its just Volume 1.... you got to go out and buy/rent the rest of it
