The cop could have diffused the situation by saying that John Quincy Adams was born on 11 July 1767. He could have found this out by working the google on his cellular telephone internet machine.

Every time you pass go, you get asked questions from a Trivial Pursuit card. You get $100 for each answered correctly, for a total of $600 if you get them all. If you get none right, you go to jail.
If you run out of funds, you can answer questions for money.
If someone wants to buy a property you want, you challenge them for it. You ask each other questions from different cards and whoever gets the most out of the six on the card gets the property and the other has to pay for it.
