I just think the concentrated a little... too much on CGI, to the point where they were neglecting storytelling and cinematic elements in lieu of the 'omg this is shiny lets make more shiny' factor.
*coughTransformers2cough*
There's this disease going through most of the Hollywood studios. Somehow it translates 'Yes, we CAN do it' to 'Yes, we HAVE TO do it'.
On the contrary, the plot was very thorough....it just sucked ass.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------- In the end they will lay their freedom at our feet and say to us, 'Make us your slaves, but feed us.'
My dog is scared of fireworks because they make loud noises, but it's good that he is. I wish I had the sense to be afraid of something that could be described as "exploding fire".
So I went to a friend of my mom's house and there were a crap load of people there. Her place overlooked where the fireworks took place...lets just say the view was more than spectacular.
Oh, and her place had speakers on the porch. The local radio counted down for the fireworks and played a bunch of patriotic music really loud. Started off with Born in the USA and the only other song that I knew was Glad to be an American...at least I think that's what its called...<_<
