Well at work I microwave thawed bacon for around 50 seconds and it comes out fine. However the mics I use are the higher-tech mics...the kinds you can mic tin and metal in and stuff...so probably longer for your at-home mic.
There's really such a thing as professional microwaves?
When I have made bacon in the microwave, I did it for three minutes. It wasn't cooked enough. Then I did it for one minute. And one minute. And one minute. And one minute. And then got mad and did it for five minutes. And then it was finally cooked.
