World in Conflict: Soviet Assault Message Board  

When I bought the game it said on the packaging that it came with the original World In Conflict. I've started the game it just takes me to the expansion. How do I play the original??? And yes when I ran the installer it said that it was installing the original game. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you in advance.

SA is a mix of the original plus the soviet missions.

I.e. the US missions are the original game missions.

And yes that was poor of them, making people have to replay the entire game again from scratch just to get the soviet campaign to play and not which would have been better to be seperate.

It also hidden the fact there was hardly any soviet missions, a handful basically it could have been better.

I'm a little confused. I beleive if I'm right that when I started the game it started with a Soviet and not American mission.

Well again I started the game and it started with a Soviet mission is it supposed to do that??

Yes its supposed to do that, after the soviet mission you go to Seattle and play as Parker

i've played the original..its a very addictive game. how many soviet levels r there in SA?
