The ONLY version of this game is a Steam version. If you have another version, you've pirated the game or purchased a pirated copy. Your game is, therefore, unsupported.

Autoexec and cheatmenu.scar go directly into the install directory. For me, this directory is C:\Program Files\steam\steamapps\common\Dawn of War 2
OMFG!!!!! TRAINER HAS BEEN UPDATED!!!! HOLY ****!!!!! NO WAY!!!!!

I also have the x-live version of the game. Despite my lazyness, i learned how to mod the game(nothing too serious, just more att. point, better wargear). Well, all my effort was in vain, because i can't make the game accept my mods(i can't do the -dev stuff and of course i dont have the rev ini file) I suppose there is no hope for me, but if anyone have a solution, i'll be happy to hear it.

Have you tried editing the shortcut to have -dev at the end of the target?

If you have no idea what I'm talking about, go into the directory, right click the DoW exe, create shortcut, right click > properties on the shortcut and where it has "C:\Program Files\Dawn of War 2\DOW2.exe" put -dev at the end.

Ok this is wierd, i've had this mod working before now but my install was corrupted so I had to re-install. I've done the exact same as I did when I had it working but nada.

The two files are in the install directory there is a -dev on the target of my executable shortcut.
