The guy is trying to comit suicide by jumping from the roof of the bulding, but before the video that introduces you to the mission is over he jumps wich gives me no time whatsoever to get to the truck, and put it there to "easy" his landing.

Do you use cheats? if so then that's why.. as a feature in the game if you enter over a certain number of cheats before that point in the game it gives you little to no time to save Madd dog
