I shower with board shorts and my rash guard on when I get done surfing, therefore I am showering "clothed."

The only time I showered naked at the beach was well... when I had a female accomplice of mine with me.

FYI Shampooing a women's hair under a warm outdoor shower with the amber sun setting on the horizon, surfboards jammed in the sand, and no one on the beach = Freaky sneaky time, Aloha Style.
