Leisure Suit Larry: Box Office Bust Message Board  

I have tried for almost a day now to get past Throw Larry from the Train section. I can get to the carriage with all the bails of hay on it, I get over the hay but am unable to jump onto next carriage I cant move any boxes. Can anyone help me to get past this please.

Key is to jump at the right time. Its hard yes, impossible, no.
I tried that one for about an hour, then got fed up and quit.

Came back an hour later, and passed it first try.

Do I jump to the side of the carriage or the middle, is it a run and jump or a stand still, do I have to get as close to the carriage I want to jump onto ie stand on the ledge near the coupling , do I keep tapping the jump button. I have tried everything for about 24 hours now on and off, if you could please explain a little bit more so I know roughly where I have to stand or run from and what keys I have to hit and how many times. My hair has almost all been pulled out now and I would like to complete this with some left. Your help is much appreciated.

Well... I took a running jump. Dont know if it can be done standing.
i hit the middle, a little off to the left side, if I am not mistaken. I am pretty sure you can hit anywhere.

Ok thanks I will keep trying with the jumping, I cant believe I am stumped and the game is at the beginning almost, cant wait for the next level.

It'll get better, wait till you get to the part where you have to climb the mountain

When you climb on top of the hay look down and you'll see a crate. Push that crate to edge, climb on it and then jump to the next car.

I'm stuck at the mountain climb part which just sucks after trying it for many many times.
