Sad, I just cant seem to get it working. :-/
Checked everything that could possibly be the problem.
Now theres only one possible thing left to do. :-(
I know its a bit late to ask you, but remember caliber has a version that is in english, perhaps yourself being german may have the german version of the game which would have a different executable than the english.
Right, might be your computer's Language. But double check the version. If you have it on steam, definitely go for the latest of the latest. (due to its automatic update)
Make sure you start the trainer first
Edit: mmmmm.... no. You know what? it's definitely your Unicode problem. (Windows XP) Try going to Control Panel -> Regional and Language options -> Advanced tab -> "Language for non-unicode programs" -> choose English (US). Remember it might require your windows CD. IF you WANT to cheat that bad enough to change your computer's language, go ahead.
OR if you don't want to change thatto English, try installing all english related code page conversion tables. It's right below of the roll down menu (language for non-unicode programs).
Does somebody have to translate the steps for him?

I have Hebrew as my chosen language, and it works fine. And from what I know, in the very rare circumstances that Hebrew make things not work, German still does.
