where do you find surf?

once you travelt o solaceon town and ebat cyrus you get hm surf

Ya its celestic sorry my mistake

you get it from one of the old ladies in the lost tower before you get to Solaceon Town.

Here are the locations for some of the HM's in Platinum one or two of which i cant exactly remember where but i do kind of remember when.

HM 1: Cut- Cynthia in Eterna City before you face gym leader Gardenia whoes badge you need to use it outside of battle.

HM 2: Fly- Inside the Galactic Storage Warehouse(Veilstone City): you need to get cut from Cynthia first.

HM 3: Surf- One of the old ladies at the top floor of the Lost Tower. Defog is recommended for this.

HM 4: Strength- A man when you first enter the Oreburgh Gate.

HM 5: De-fog- I dont xactly remember but it was right before i entered the Lost Tower. you need to talk to somebody to get it i think.

HM 6: Rock Smash- You get it shortly before you battle gy leader Roark.

HM 7: Waterfall- You get it from the last gym leader i believe.

HM 8: Rock Climb- Rt 217 behind a house. n easy wa y to find this one is as soon as you see the transition from rt 216 to rte 217 stand against the trees to your left facing across from the first trainer. from there walk straight forward/up without turning. you will come to a set of trees on your left. there are 5 trees closest to you. there is a vacant corner spot between two trees. stand i front of the first tree to the left of the vacant spot. walk forward/up from there and there will be a house with a tree behind and to the right of it. This is the house that apparently nobody can find. The HM 8 is next to the tree.

you dont get surf at the lost tower you get it from cynthias grandmother in celestic town

Yes I am sorry you are correct i must have gotten my memory from Diamond mixed up with Platinum my apologies...
