Has anyone figured out how to edit the ships hull strength's and fire power? I can do upkeep cost, cost, speed, reload skill, accuracy. I wanna make my heavy first rate like a juggernaut, just one ship messing everybody up =)

the hull strength is the third column in the unit_stats_naval_tables if you use the Pack File Manager.

now let me see if i can find firepower...

You are looking for the column labeled projectile ID under land unit table, or naval units.

Then if you open up the projectiles db, you can edit weapon stats or even copy a row, rename it, mod it, and go that route.

Personally I tweaked many of the british units to increase range, weapon power, etc.

Just remember to back up everything before you start modding.

Concerning cheating via modding the game.
I've found the file for the campaign difficulty handicaps. In it you can edit the modifiers for the various difficulty levels, but I don't know what diff-level each of the modifiers belongs to, and if the modifiers apply to the player or to the AI.

I can't, however, seem to find the one for the battles. I was hoping I could find the file and change it so player's units will be invulnerable and such. Would have been great.

If anyone knows anything useful about this, I would certainly appreciate it.

Make sure you're editing in patch.pack as everything in there is loaded after main.pack and replaces it.

anyone know how to make all units increase their experience faster ?

i am looking at unit_experience_thresholds but i am unsure why casualty's would be there (if kills means how many your unit has to kill to advance in rank) getting your units killed also nets experience ?
sounds unlikely so if any of you knows for certain what this does then please tell me.

and ofcourse there just being 6 experience levels is also low because in single battle you can do more if i am not mistaken.
