lol, it's get me dizzy when i see numbers flying around like these... I guess that 01s after FFs are skills space/room that already used by the skill and 00s after 01s are space/room that reserved for the new art and FFs is the identifier for new skills and array of bytes before FFs is the skill identifier that u already have and you have to get to battle to activated the new one...that's just my guess..heh.. @kazuki...If there's a xp system for skill, then what 'bout when i add new skill...will the skill took new xp as new skill or else..? cause i guess that every skill lv up differently as how many times i used that skill..
I'm a lil aware to change memory in rpg gem as i might cause changes in the gem sys...I want to play as dirty as i play clean...

Woahh..it's absolutely new thing for me and totaly don't understand 'bout that. Can u explain bout that, please...or any tutorial in other sites u may know to explain bout that..?? Btw, for me, to find the location is just to find series of FFs, and 01s, or write the array of bytes so i can find it later as it never change the order in each saves.. I wonder why when i change the hp, ap,and other stat w/ CE in the game and change the equipment or other things that relate to stat in the gem, the stat will change to normal as it should before i change it w/ CE.
Cheat Engine has its own tutorial, available from 'tutorial.exe' in the folder where it resides.
Parts 6+ (or so) should teach you about using Pointers in Cheat Engine.
A pointer is basically a value the game reads from an area of the memory, that points it to another Location in memory. Sometimes, that new location points to yet another, and so on, and so forth. Which is the case with a lot of the stuff in The Last Remnant.
The reason some of your stats do not work is probably because you are changing the display values and not the real values.
I find the value for the stat by the changing value and i only change 1 address that match and it changed other adressed that match (it's aabout 3 or i forgot)...I find it w/o equipment weared so it must be the exact value for the stat. Is there any other value for that stat or..???
Then i added an art (Weapon Art - Megalore) when i add it, i modified right after the FF, a 00 into 01 (the first bold 01). As i said before, i still don't know the purpose of those 01 but as i had noticed there were always as many 01 as arts... i keep modify them.
Then modified a second 00 into 01, the second bold 01, this one has the purpose to make the art appear in the game list.
About the art experience... i'm almost sure they have an experience and level up when they reach a certain given value but yet i haven't found this experience (i only tried to find it few time though) I might try again when i have more time.
Anyway, it means that some skill added manually at max level might come back to a lower level when their experience reach a given value to level up. No much a big deal as we just need to edit it again (if you store address, it's really easy address to adapt them but already explained it in another post) But would be better to find those experiences and then edit them in same time, wouldn't need to worry anymore for an art to level down.
