Ok so Im playing all the factions to see which I like best. Though only the brits had a mission which gave me a chance to own the 13 colonies but that was the only mission. I mean really isnt there any other missions?

And if you want another mission, create a revolution and change the goverment.

what does that do? i always find a way to go to a republic (love the republican guard) but i never get a new mission.

Done it with France (Louisiana) and Britain (colonies) and i think it is possible with Spain (New Spain)

Yes if you go spain you get a mission which lets you take over new spain. I'm using britian at the moment and fighting spain. All of the main land in the caribbean is controled by spain and not new spain anymore. So I assume the enemy AI was given the mission.

except there is no way they are given the same mission. I know that you need the Cherokee territory as France to get a hold of Louisianna, and yet either i or the cherokee have had that land since the start of the game, yet (within the past few turns, i have had the Cherokee territory since like turn 5) the flag is of France and Louisianna is no longer a faction.
