Empire: Total War Message Board  

I downloaded the trainer patch 2 for the updated retail version of empire total war and it worked fine for about 3 game turns.

When i went to end turn the game stopped responding and crashed. Now i cant use the trainer with my favorite save because whenever the trainer is enabled, the game stops responing. This happens on all my save and new campaign games.

I payed £35 to become a unlimited member just for these trainers and now i can't use them.

I don't think its the trainer.

The game still crashes a lot.

Yeah new patch seems to be crashing alot on me too with or without the trainer running, maybe its cos im on vista 32 bit that im havin problems?

Even more annoying is that id just got the trainer to work with patch 1 and now it wont work

I've got XP 32bit (the normal) and I've not had 1 single crash yet (with or without trainer). I would not be suprised if the curse of vista is interfering again. It seems most of the complaints are from vista users.

Yep I'm on vista and am having major problems with the trainer, I can activate it but nothing happens when using the numbers 1-9, no money no nothing! I have done everything I can think of and trawled these boards doing everything suggested by other users. I am at a complete loss now and I only joined for this trainer, frustrating.

If it does nothing then your numpad is not on, you're not using the numpad keys or something is blocking it like antivirus or vista permissions.

Well im having some minor hickups with and without the trainer, rigth now i have 6 steamdrydocks i can't click on without the game crashing;-(

OK, someone help me out. I have had no problems with the trainers - as long as I kept them current with the "Steam" idiots. But, everytime I start a game, all is well until I get to around turn 12, then the game just quits. I am running Vista 32. My machine is a mega monster with all the speed and memory I need to run anything.

Is it Vista, ETL, Steam, trainers, or what???
