Was anybody else dissapointed with this game? Specificly on the allies side? I mean it's kind of sad when you go back to Red Alert 2 over 3 based on the fact that Red Alert 3 has **** regarding units and buildings.

I mean allies have only one infantry and they are called peace keepers with shotguns? What happened to the G.I.'s that could make there own trenches.

Yeah, they pretty much screwed it up, especially with the units.

    Allies:
    Infantry:
    G.I. > Peace Keeper.
Peace Keepers suck, I would like to see G.I.s back. The Javelins look ridiculous. When I first saw them, I thought they were some kind of simple workers, not military personnel. I miss the Rocketiers(?), and Tanya is worse than she used to be.

    Armor/Vehicles:
Very poor selection of tanks. They should have added the Prism tank. Also, the German unique tank could be used as a counter-tank against the Soviet Apocalypse.

    Naval:
The carrier and the dolphins are pretty good.
The new Destroyers hit points are lower than the original Destroyer, it should have been the other way around. The good thing about them is the amphibious and the black armor ability.

    Structures [both sides]:
What to say? They did a good job with the structures, but obviously not good enough. They didn't exclude a lot of them, but it would be still a lot better if ALL of them were included.
Imagine three superweapons per faction. Now that would be amazing.

    Soviet:
    Infantry:
I'm quite satisfied with the Soviet infantry, nothing I would change/add/remove there.

    Armor/Vehicles:
They're good, but they look horrible. The Hammer and the Apocalypse have dumb designers, I prefer the ones from RA2.

    Naval:
Nothing I would add here. I think the Soviet Navy is way better than the Allied.

RA3 could have been the biggest success in the new C&C history(since EA took over), but it's pretty much a giant failure. I wonder how Uprising will turn out.
If I were EA, I would start working on a full expansion for RA3, in which all units and structures were included and possibly 2-3[units] new ones per faction.

So yeah, the game is very disappointing. I expected more from them.

Uprising is nothing more than some new campaigns and a couple new units. Not worth the money.

I was so hacked off and disapointed with RA3 that when I complained and took it back the next day after I bought it (couple days after release), they offered me a 1p refund, because I could have registered the account online... (which I didnt) 😵 , so I sold it to a mate for £15...

I used to love command and conquer, but with the stream of goop they've been releasing, Im going to have to be very tempted to buy the next CnC, I might just re-install the original command and conquer, now that was ace!

I dont wish to argue but what you put in post is just utterly wrong

    Allies:
    Infantry:
Peace keepers are epic and stupidly over powered also Tanya is by far the best "commander" out of all the factions.

    Vehicles:
Ifv will spank mechas 2-3 on 1 and sickles 2 on 1.
Muiltgunners are great anit air aswel as other uses are repairing your tanks during battle with engie in ect.

    Naval:
Sucks compared to others unless you early rush them you wont win a sea battle. Plus side is jammers/anit air extremely powerful

    Soviet:
Infantry: Conscripts fail at everything, Flax troopers very good
bears also good and natasha sucks.

    Vehicles:
    Yeah agree with you

    Navel: Also agree with you

Alot of balance issues with ra3 specaily allied peacekeepers and japs sea. But patches coming out all the time so they will be sorted soon enough.

I play alot of RTS'S and never play ra3 for graphical aspect as its never going to compare to sup com ect.

i have to disagree with it being called a disappointment, i know it probably isn't as good as everyone would have liked but come-on people have worked hard at producing a top notch game, the graphics are great, the story is great, the cast is great + god only knows you can't get everything right on the first attempt

command and conquer has declined since the days of Westwood, but if you focus on the positives the game has to offer instead of concentrating on the negatives, you won't be as concerned.

All the things you are dissappointed with can be easily rectified with a patch, expansion or mod

thank EA for another game, how disappointed would you be if they stopped making command and conquer because of the criticism- although i loathe generals. How often can you blow stuff up, wreck countries and continents without fear of any real harm
as you stand, gun in hand, ready for the attack. The calm before the storm is broken...BANG...headshot from a sniper.
I wait in darkness until the opertunity arrives- picking my timing and position, seeing the whites in your eyes before the trigger is pulled and life fades from my opponents.
