Whenever I use the trainer function to upgrade my ship (following the directions included with the trainer) i can only ever upgrade my engines, never the rest of the ship (i.e. wings)
anybody know a fix for this?

You're talking about the Super Ship Trainer Function I am guessing. It fully upgrades your ship to the max except for the last engine upgrade. Once you upgrade your engine specs once you cant upgrade anymore.
You have a level 30 maxed out ship with all upgrades.
