I was just wondering if Resident Evil 5 is save file locked? meaning can i transfer saved game from my old ps3 to my new one or even use another person's save file?

ViktorGorchev, it's not ing CapCom that's a tch... It's just the way they made the game. They wanted it so gamers of Resident Evil 5 would have more of a challenge.
I thought Mw2 sucked before I tried it, it's like playing in a movie! Though it sucks that I'm the worst player in every game I join. :(

Yes it's locked. But the full PS3 system backup utility can backup protected saves as well, so you should be able to transfer it.
It works for me.

i think its good that games are starting to lock the save files i means every one has to play the game properly and not just cheat

What a comment in a cheating forum Anyway, cheating or not, it's lame that you have to backup the entire HDD or loose the save collection when the PS3 dies.
