Thank you very much for the information! The game would crash all the time and I've spent many, many hours with EA Tech support trying to resolve this issue of 'spontaneous' crashing. I even tried running the game without the trainer but once you save a game having used Plasma Armour it always remains and so when I would go use the Orbital Dump it would crash it anyways. I've followed your explanation and I've been playing on a off for several hours, albeit without the Orbital Dump.
Caliper, I'm a lifetime member and would really appreciate an update fixing this.

It also crashes for me when using the Soviet Orbital Bombardment.

No rest eh?, lots of titles coming out and for this game the 1.09 patch was just released.
