    What am io doing wrong?

I open the patch.pack, navigate to the locations you specify, click to expand the units_stats_land_tables, but i dont see anything on the right in the window of the editor. I have tried extracting the file, but still i see nothing,

    Where have i gone wrong.

Ok found the folders, but cant open them with the editor, as it informs me the file is not a pack file.

    Regards & thx in advance...

Make sure "DataGridViewAutoFilter.dll" and "DBFileTypes" files are in the same folder as the PackFileManager.

Make sure you also click on units_stats_land inside the units_stats_land_tables. Wait a second or two and it should show up a list of "records" on the right hand side.

Also be advised that the program needs .Net Framework v2 or higher in order to work. You may need to allow the PackFileManager access to the internet (don't know why but it does) in your firewall.

Bare in mind I didn't make this program so thats really all help I can give you.

    For some reason
    units_to_special_editions_juncs_tables
    doesn't delete.

I press on it, the left click, then press "delete file". It looks like everythings going fine, but just to make sure I search for it again (without closing the program) and it's there again.

The file won't delete untill you press SAVE. Then it will be gone.

Alternatively you can download this "unlocker" and place it in your DATA folder. It will give you the same result and you won't have to edit your game files.

Edit: This no longer works with Patch 1.3 or higher. The link has been removed.

adoman what is the best way to decrease the experience requirements for rank advancement for units ?

i have been looking at unit_experience_thresholds but i am unsure why casualty's would be there (if kills means how many your unit has to kill to advance in rank) getting your units killed also nets experience ?
sounds unlikely so if any of you knows for certain what this does then please tell me.

and of course there just being 6 experience levels is also low because in single battle you can pay for 9 advancements in rank.

I wouldn't know sorry. I've only grasped how to edit the files. Got very little experiance knowing how to do things once I'm there. I know the basic stuff like, increase ammo, fast reload, etc - thats about it.
