anyone else have this problem? i just can't turn them off somehow. every time i switch it to "never"

anyone else have this problem? i just can't turn them off somehow. every time i switch it to "never" in the options menu, it just turn back on every time a new battle starts.
i'm using the steam version.

same thing here, you have to put on allways, ok, then go back and change to never, its a pain i know...

thx for the reply. i'm wondering if it's the same situation for the DVD version of the game. the steam files are kinda weird, i can't even locate my save files. anyone tried to unpack the files?

save files are located in

x:\Users\%yourusername%\AppData\Roaming\The Creative Assembly\Empire\save_games
