Yea, I don't mean to be a "fan-boy" but give them a break. If the trainer isn't working the way you want it to there are a couple of things you can do:
1. Make your own trainer the way you want it. 2. Not use the trainer and just play the game normal. 3. Just play battles to get your tactics down. 4. (Insert something here)
This game has only been out for a week and they have already done tons with it.
Thank you for trying to accommodate everyone. The negligible amount of money that membership costs here is more than made up for by the extra mile you folks go to on our behalf!
So they released a patch for Empire Total War already, wondering if this is still compatible with the game?
Where?
Steam auto updated the game. Turns out they had it planned to release "the first major patch" a week after launch of the game. But the trainer still works fine so *shrug*

Out of curiosity, has anyone tried the super laggy move option with the patch? Just wondering if the patch may have fixed some of the lagginess...'cuz I noticed that with a fleet of 1st Rate ships in a wide open sea I get the same lag as the laggy movement option with land troops...in fact, several times the ships crashed the game but the laggy movement option never actually crashed it.

you may have right caliber but i checked it with deplomacy in the game and i found something.
after i finished the RTI tutorial and later on when i get back to the game to countinu with united states and tried to look what other country had for Tech. and i saw that they hade allmost all the tech. that i didnt have even minor nations and it was of the beginning of the new start for us and it is around 1983.
my question is dose Al made it that way all other nations had the tech or was that the trainer i used from the beginning of the RTI?
has anyone checket this out? because im suspicious about the research tech in the trainer...
im appreciate your hard work but im worried about that if it is the case im not gonna use the tech trainer.. i dont want to put a pressure on so take your time and look in to it the game dont ranning a way from me and i can still play..

i had no laggy lag when playing, i do think there was lag when selecting a shipyard, but not enough to bug me. At least this game doesnt crash every 10 mins (fallout 3) and hopefully another patch will come out soon
