i had a problem, when soldir drops his weapon, suddenly he can't pick it up, is there any bug there??

having the same problem here, only works on corpses

I found that if the weapon is damaged (i.e. nade killed the soldier) then you can't pick it up.

same here get to the part when you are in jeap cant pickup dynamite

I had the problem too, and I found the problem source and solution:

Problem source: when using unlimited Ammo option on trainer, Check the number of ammo your soldier has.

Solution : either don't use ammo option, or just drop the ammo you have then pick up weapon from ground and pick up ammo again then reactivate ammo option.

that's just what what i did, problem solved

also, sometimes having them mount up on a vehicle like a tank will reset whether or not they can pick up something...

had a loser in the first mission with a pistol and wanted him to pick up a LMG, however he just wouldn't listen to me until I had him sit aboard the KV1, hop right back off, and he picked it up without a second's hesitation.

Now keep in mind, the game itself is dubiously programmed, and the voice acting is enough to make the original Resident Evil worthy of an Oscar in comparison, but the work-around seems to have done the trick for me, so hopefully it's a real solution for others.

the reason it does not let you pick up is because you have more stuff in your inventory that it really supposed to have if you drop all the big groups of ammo you should be able to pick up your gun that you may of dropped or got knocked out of your hand. You can also loot another from a body.
