I don't think I could pump it to any higher resolutions, but my monitor only goes up to 1280x1024 anyway.

well I wouldnt even say a 2.4 ghz because I run it on max settings with a 2.19 and a nvidia 9600 gt with 3698 megs of ram
are you firing on a single core 2.19? a dual or quad at the same ghz level will outperform a single core.
