I just downloaded The Sims 2 today and now it says I can't play it because I don't have ActiveX 9.0c installed or something like that and I do. I tried to check my stats or whatever here but it won't show me . example: i42.tinypic.com/117skxs.jpg
First of all, you need to install proper drivers for your video card. It's probably ATI or Nvidia--go to the proper company webpage and download the appropriate drivers.
Second, update DirectX.
