Sacred 2: Fallen Angel Message Board  

I am having the same issue. Upon further investigation, I have discovered that when I click on 'save current' in the editor, nothing actually saves. The .decoded file and the .sacred2save file stay exactly the same, and are not modified at all. I know this because I was checking the modified timestamps to see which ones were changing when it I first tried re-encoding my .decoded.

Anyone know why the editor isn't saving the changes to the .decoded? Perhaps I need to re-download the .NET Framework?

Edit: I tried the second editor with the altered source code (by Sainox) and it seemed to save fine. The file was modified in some way because windows detected it and the timestamp changed. However, nothing in game changed, even when I levelled. I'm beginning to think this might be a .NET Framework issue, so I'll try reinstalling .NET 2.0 and see if that helps.

Yeah...this isn't working for me as well. So much for respec on my char. Ah well...

I downloaded your editor, it works well to a point, however it refuses to add the amount of gold I choose, I've tried different amounts all to no avail; have any ideas?!

Same Issue, Unable to edit gold. Which is anoying because its all I wanted the trainer to do

Something just occured to me. In this game you have a shared chest right that can be accessed between diff chars?

Is it possible to put money in this chest, from what I could see I couldnt do it but I am hoping I just missed something.

Is there a finished Sacred 2 FA Character editor that works and that you can edit and dup items etc. or edit the items in the chest?

I want an editor so i don't have to spend countless hours just to NOT find what i want...

Well, you can pass on your most expensive equipement but no money.

But you can save the file "chest.sacred2chest" in "\My Documents\Ascaron Entertainment\Sacred 2" then emty it out then replace the file (out of game) then re enter the game and empty the chest again, and sell the items for more and more money.

I'd like to have access to other information of the save file. It should be faster if I don't have to decode the binary file on my own
