Hi all i'm new. I would know if there is a way to change class to my char , it's so bored do another times all main quests and i would change class. I tried your char editor but i didnt find this option. Thanks.

Hi, arindoral, welcome to Cheat Happens.
Sorry to say, there isn't a way to change character class. It is not, unfortunatelly, just a matter of changing some bytes in the save file. Whole sections of the file would have to be changed (combat arts for example), most of which I don't even know.
As for editing quests, it's pretty much all the same, as there are so many of them, and I read somewhere, they are saved binary. So there's really no easy way to achieve what you wanted.

when i take the decrypted save game and try to load it in the Sacred 2 game save application from my desktop it gives me this error first -
the experience doesnt match the account try again

then i use the same experience value (which is the correct value) after attempting to load the game save from my desktop once more.

I then recieve this error-

unhandled exception has occurred in your application. if you click continue, the application will ignore this error and attempt to continue. if you click quit, the application will close immediately.

The process cannot access the file
"C:\Users\Ken\Desktop\SACRED2_FA.decoded" because it is being used by another process.


Note- I am using a flashdrive to hold my game save data so that i can just move the file from my xbox console to my laptop and edit the save.

1. using "usbXport" to read my save data from my console and export it to my desktop
2. using "Sacred 2 Tool", the one that decodes my save and then becomes "SACRED2_FA.decoded" which i save to my desktop
3. using "Sacred 2 Save Game" application to attempt to load my "SACRED2_FA.decoded" from my desktop
4. and thats when i get the fun errors listed above.

Hi IZMODZ.
Do I understand correctly that you try to edit your Xbox saves? If that's the case, I cannot help you. The editor is meant to work with PC saves ONLY! It was not and will not be tested with console saves, sorry.
Plus, if you have to write XP or gold, I'd say you're using the old version. If I'm correct, you can download the newest here: LINK REMOVED. Look below. But it will probably not work with console saves anyway. If it did, than it means they are no different than the PC saves, which I personally doubt.

After I have returned to Sacred 2 for a while, I took a look at the editor and found a bug that needed polishing.

So here is a new minor release, for those that are still using the editor.

The new layout looks great.

There is a small bug. If the char has reached Level 200 it is possible to push the Level Up Button again, which is causing a error message.
