I recently had a fiddle around the options for fun on CSS and I noticed the resolution wasn't the same as my desktop. I went to change it but I accidentally put it to 1280x800, whereas my monitor is 1280x1024. Because my monitor doesn't support 1280x800, every time I come to play the game it just comes up with a black screen, so I can't change it back. I tried reinstalling the game but the problem still persists.

Hmm have you tryed getting into your computers "propertys' and changing it? hen changing it back to see if it rese im not sure but you could try it.

I know its an old post un all, but for further reference..
If you do that, just right click o the desktop shortcut / go to properties / go to compatibility / then select run in 640x480. All screen can go that low, then it will give you the chance to get in game and change to a nice working size.
***But dont forget to uncheck the option before launching again..!!
