Command & Conquer: Red Alert 3 Message Board  

If RA3 is crashing during the splash screen after installing the 1.06 update I found a quick fix.

Right-click the icon and click properties
Click Compatibility
Put a check mark in the 640 X 480 box
Click OK and you are in business.

The launcher will start in 640 X 480 but change over to the game resolution when it starts up so you are not stuck at that size. I had this problem and it fixed it for me.

if you're using vista OS, just check the compatibility tab to Windows XP, works for me so far...

My problem is that after starting the game and entering a mission, the trainer will work fine, up until an undetermined time when the game screen will go blank and the game stalls. After which an error message pops up. I've done every step from placing the trainer in the game folder to changing the key settings for the trainer options, yet I still get the game to crash and apparently it blames the Red Alert 3 EXE file for screwing up and has to close the game. Anyone have any more suggestions I could try to see if I can get the trainer to actually work without crashing the game?

Where do i report bugs with 1.06 ?? I have noticed after activating the plasma armor, you can't use any of the major weapons like proton collider chronosphere, etc.. It will instantly crash your game if you do use it.
