S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Shadow of Chernobyl Message Board  

My weird experience -
When I finally found a radiation suit I went around exploring various areas I could not previously due to high radiation. While messing around in the swamp north west of Agroprom I finished off a couple of mutants and noticed something orange lying on the ground, so I walked over to it. It was located just about in the center of the swamp, maybe just south of the center and not too close to anything else.
What I saw appeared to be, as best as I could guess, a glowing orange human spinal column. It was very radioactive and when I hovered cross-hairs over it the game did not yield a description. Nor was I able to pick it up. After a few moments of head scratching I walked away, talked to the guy in the trailer over at the north end of the swamp, then came back, and the spine was gone.
I haven't ever seen anything like it again in the game since then.

i know where you find the guitar and the radio.& when i took them,i bring the to rookie camp.I put it near wolf and gues what!I saw the wolf took the guitar and he was play some melody on it.Then i saw he dropped it and took the radio and he say:group 1 do you hear me???over.....and then he dropped too.he say it maybe because i've got a czech patch.they maybe dabing it bad.i don't know. and then I went to scrapyard,and he say about some mistake,but the game still loading and then i went to duty outpost,and i was scared!I saw the BIG bug!i saw(with binocular)the bloodsuckers with guns.and i find ot that,the bug was that it change some textures.it was a big bug.the loners was dogs,and bloodsuckers was monolith soldiers.....

I know! :-) I saw the same thing. :-D At first I thought it was a mutating artefact but then I´ve throwen some dead Stalkers in the anomaly... eh... ok i got the russian version, so i don´t know the english name for it... It´s this one where you´re sucked in and then it tries to pull you up in the air and so on... well the stalkers were splitted in pieces and sometimes there was a spine left which was surrounded in a strange orange colour. I did the process many times again because i thought that it´s a way to create artefacts but, hehe, nana, there was no result and so I stopped... but well, sometimes i do it for fun again

Very nice, seems like a typical bug after an patchin error... but there´re much other patches. try to patch your game up to 1.0006--> and here´s a hint from me: very much people say that the version 1.6 just fixes net gaming issues, BUT, I got the game patched till 1.5. There I had some ingame bugs like loading map error/graphical issues. After I set up the 1.6th version, I didn´t have any problems, anymore

A lot of changes have been taken place in updated version I think.

lol happened to me a lot of times that the enemies were pointing in any direction and they could still hit me.
Another bug is that i broke a box with the knife and a physics error sent me flying far away and it was endless
Oh and i found the spinal column too.

i played many modds i like 2 c strange things
like dogs in agropom-underground
or
i shot a bloodsucker in darkvalley when you enter the room with 2 dead stalker and 1 living.
it disapear and came back to life when i desent the stairs
thats fun

some mods give strange things
