I have to say i have no issues with the beta so far, apart from TEC's Marza Dreadnought capital ship's Missile Barrage - its way too powerful, drop one of these ships into the middle of an enemy/pirate ship cluster and watch the fireworks.

With Beta 2 released on 29th Jan, final release date moved to 11th Feb. Game updates are great, starbases rock, and the odd crash when using new features in beta.
For now using Artmoney to hack the credit amount (FLOAT-4 value type), and just buying metal/crystal as required.
