Lord of the Rings: Conquest Message Board  

My card is not new ( Gf8800Gt) but i can run crysis on high ( no anti alias) with better performance than this game.

I'd say the game's only real problem is that the enemy ai abuses special powers to the point of where its annoying. Fighting warriors is just flat out annoying and its way to easy to be knocked down, think of dynasty warriors except every two seconds you are flat on your back with 5-10 dudes kicking you while your down. It does have moments where its fun but id say steer clear if you have a short temper cause you'll be punching holes in walls in no time.

any of you guys know wy the hell that hobbit gets in the way when you try n kill the armored trolls?

the maps are short, and melee is crap
the combat is just annoying as hell...hit system is the worst, play as an archer and see, as usual, EA games are crap...
the annoying narrator..ugly graphics? i run at max and still it looks like ****, i loved battlefront but this is just crap...


man you would think i would learn from the other EA games...

No much to say(kkk)....bad game, bad grafic (running on max), bad voice, use the same old movie's scenes (they could try to give some new pespective of the battle..i dont know =/). the replay factor is only present on the on-line game.....and i must say...have anyone played the LotR - the return of the ring??? i just thing is prety much the same game!!! i just loved starwars battlefront I & II and had really high expectancy for this one ...

The graphics are just ok. Thats all. No real bumpmaps, no spec maps. Gameplay is terrible in single player and my net is on basic speed (thanks economy) so multiplayer is out. Combos are ok IF you have a controler and if i wanted that id buy a 360 not have a PC.

Overall the game is a flop from my perspective. Terrible port to PC (again) and it just felt like the LOTR series cheaped out. Hopefully ill get my money back, but i doubt it.

I said in my first post that I liked it.

The more I play it, the less of a game it becomes.

What's wrong with EA? Are they just totally incapable of making a half-decent game?

ive heard mixed reviews, not sure if i should get it.can someone do me a quick favor and give me a rundown of what the star wars battlefront games were like? people keep saying its the same as this game, but i never knew what that is.

Debating on buying this game: should i or not? i can handle frustration very well, generally a big fan of ea. what do you guys think?
