to my knowledge there isnt a 0turn mod or edit you can use. Obvious work around is either using the create_unit cheat or alternativly edit the export_descr_buildings and add the following line to a building such as the town hall (just be sure to add it to the buildings upgrades too - copy & paste) recruitment_slots 8 requires factions { country u wanna use here, } whist it still limits u to waiting a turn it does give u a better advantage without having to spam cheats - the requires faction ensures only u get this benifit. i know its not what ur after but i hope it helps in the mean time

where in the file do you add the recruitment_slots 8 etc etc, do u put it directly after the original recruitment slot code or do you replace it?

An easier way of doing this is to use the replace function in notepad. Just copy the recruitment_slot 1 text and replace it with recruitment_slot 9. Do this for the others such as 2,3,4 etc. Much easier than manually changing everyone.

Speaking of 0 turn units i know you mean instant recruitment but if you didn`t know you should use cheats to get units like doing the following.....
~ is the button to go into cheat panel...........
If i wanted some highly trained Peasanta i would go
create_unit (Town of army to join) "Peasants" (amount up to 5 at a time) (experience..0-9) (armour up to 3) and i think lastly (attack up to 3)
so i would type
create_unit "London" "Peasants" 5 9 3 3
to get 5 groups of maxed out peasants!
"In Peace Sons bury their Fathers, In War Fathers bury their Sons."
