Fate has a cruel way of coming back on you as Hart eliminated HBK last year...regardless an exhasted Hart has no remorse as he throws his hands at Michaels in disgust leaving with no further incident. Bret's ringtime is calculated at an hour and 15 minutes...the second longest ringtime in the Rumble

Each man jumbles into one another fighting randomly all over the ring, Triple H with Austin then Austin with Edge, Edge with Michaels then Rock with Michaels and Test with Triple H...it's a melee of bodies in the Rumble match.

Triple H does a jumping knee drop on Test, Austin starts damaging Edge's shoulder after that previous spear right into the pole and finally HBK gives Rock a few backhand chops in the corner. Once Test, Edge and Rock were down, HBK, Triple H and Austin stare at each other, signaling for either a triple threat or a 2 on 1 handicap with DX on one side and Austin in the other.

That Pedigree won't be forgotten by HBK as he and Austin team-up on the Game, Austin drops an elbow then Shawn a diving punch to the head...HBK sets HHH up for Sweet Chin Music but Triple H ducks and he pops Austin, Shawn simply shrugs and attempts a clotesline on HHH but he drops him with a neckbreaker. From behind Test wipes out the Game with a Running Boot, Edge and Test then have at it as the buzzer expires...

Ortons Voices theme song is heard throughout the arena as Randy Orton calmly makes his way to the ring.

Orton in his hungry mood interrupts Edge and Test. Orton uppercuts Test a few times. Orton then signals for someone. Ted Dibiase and Rhodes come out of the shadows and run to the ring. Referees try to stop them since they're not part of the rumble, but Rhodes and DiBiase back them away and drag Test out of the ring from underneath the ropes. While orton knows that Test is being occupied, he faces his tag team partner, Edge. The Rated-RKO superstars battle it out. Orton again does uppercuts to Edge, followed by an irishwhip. Orton performs a double high jump kick, but Edge was lucky enough to cling on to the ropes.

Test is laid out by DiBiase and Rhodes with a steel chair...they shove him back in the ring, Edge goes for the spear on Orton but he tosses him into the turnbuckle knocking him out. It's just Orton and Test now as the Legend Killer pounds on the mat like a snake waiting for Test to rise...Test stumbles his way up and gets dropped with a devastating RKO! DiBiase and Rhodes prop a lifeless Test up on the ropes as Orton vaults him over with a boot stright in his face.

Test has been eliminated...

The unfair advantage and Test is cheated out of the Rumble but Legacy turn around into not the best sight- Austin, Rock, Triple H and Michaels are ready to destroy the cheating Orton and his kronies.

Orton backs away and continues to rely on Rhodes and DiBiase, but they were afraid of all four men as well. Orton rolls out underneath the ropes and exits out of the ring filled with tension. Orton, Rhodes and DiBiase think of a plan but it was too late as everyone had also exited the ring and ganged up on the 3 guys. Triple H using his famous sledgehammer on Dibiase. Rock and Austin uses various weapons against Rhodes and HBK decides to occupy Orton.

All Legacy members are down, the medical team bring 2 stretchers for DiBiase and Rhodes and Orton will continue this legendary battle alone.
While Orton is still down, Rock HBK Austin and HHH have their own problems as they're ready for a triple threat tag-team like match, DX cs Austin and the Rock and Orton is up changing his team from Legacy to Rated RKO as he teams up with Edge....

All 3 teams have at it tearing each other apart as its bedlum inside the ring...DX gains the upper hand with an elbow drop and spinbuster from Shawn and HHH to Orton and Edge. Austin and Rock now square off with DX, Rock gets dropped with a superplex by Michaels and Triple H irish whips Steve into a neckbreaker. The crowd is hot for DX as Triple H and Michaels lay their suck it chops to all 4 men...but as Shawn turns his back the King of Kings stabs him in the back laying him out with the sledgehammer. The crowd is in utter shock...Triple H pounds the hell out of HBK with the hammer busting Shawn wide open. It appears as if HHH has reverted to his heel status to win the Rumble match...Triple H then picks up Shawn and Pedigree's him flat on a steel chair, HBK is no longer the Heart Break Kid...he's a walking corpse as Triple H mercifully tosses him over the top rope like a ragdoll.

Yet more irony as HBK eliminated HHH last year.

Shawn Michaels has been eliminated...
