Call of Duty: World at War Message Board  

I recently downloaded call of duty of the pirate bay and it worked fine when I played multiplayer. I left for a little bit and the next time I run the call of duty multiplayer.exe it just gives me a black screen and a unhandled exception error. does anyone have a solution?

Usually you can't play multiplayer from pirated versions, mostly because the version has the same GUID for everyone who downloads it, and a GUID is an identification number used in multiplayer games to allow only 1 person at a time to play, as for the unhandled exception, i have no idea

Update your DirectX.

I don't think you should mention the fact it's pirated. Discussion of piracy and related topics is not allowed on this site.

ok so basicly I tried updating my DirectX but it still gave me the same error. However when I went into my profiles folder and removed everything it fixed the problem. But it turns out if I create a new profile, play on it, turn off the game and then come back the game will not work. Any other ideas?

Yeah, spend the money and buy a non pirated version.

Buy original!

You guys have a point, I'm just gonna buy the game off steam
